I've got a new show! It combines my songs with a theatrical text that explores my journey lifting the veil on my maternal lineage. It's about motherhood, daughterhood, roots, abandonment, and learning to stop running from yourself. That kind of juicy stuff. This informal and stripped-down performance will be a workshop of sorts – a chance for me to give the thing some air, try it out, and get some feedback – en route to debuting it fully at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival this coming August.
