Nadine Kellman is getting just as older as I am, but is beating me by a month or so. To celebrate, I am playing in her band for her annual birthday musical explosion Nadine Days. Billie Zizi, Ryan Funk, and Denis Frigon are also in this one-off superband. Joyousness and sarcasm are assured.

Dylan Farrell is moving to Nashville (as you do), and I'm thrilled that he's asked me to form a trio with him and the unmatchable Keith Rempel for his final show in town. A concert and storytelling show about Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell's brief but intense romantic relationship in 1967. Obviously it'll be chock full of wonderful Leonard and Joni songs, I'll do the Joni bits and the wildly compelling Joe Nolan will do the Leonard bits, and we'll be backed by all my favourite ringers – Jamie Cooper on drums, Harry Gregg on bass, Rooster Davis on organ, and Chad Murphy on guitar. I do believe it's going to be a rather fantastic night. Tickets are $42, and should be purchased in advance. It'll likely sell out.

3rd Annual music camp at the site of the legendary North Country Fair. I've been with this camp from the beginning, and it's a joy, and the line-up of instructors this year is pretty fantastic.
